I've written, edited and copy edited hundreds of articles about personal finance topics. I can deliver information in a way that's easy to understand and SEO friendly -- as well as free of errors.
Features and syndicated articles
As a writer, I had work featured in USA Today, Marketwatch, Newsweek and the Washington Post. I was also proud to work with writers whose work received wide distribution through NerdWallet's partnership with the Associated Press.
News, columns and commentary
I'm practiced at developing strategy around news events and delivering both immediate and next-day coverage of meetings of the Federal Reserve, bank tech outages and other events. I've also helped writers sharpen and refine their market commentary.
Data studies
As a writer, I'm comfortable supporting my stories with contextual statistics from government and other sources. And as an editor, I worked closely with one of NerdWallet's data writers to hone many of our quarterly data studies for homebuyers.
Reviews and round-ups
I have edited and written reviews and round-ups for multiple types of companies -- including banks and mortgage lenders -- and continually sought ways to better represent the customer experience.
